Black clouds
Converging
I feel them weighing me down
Each drop
A torrent
I'm sinking into the ground
(Futile)
Futile is the life we're given
(Searching)
Searching for a greater meaning
(Deeper)
The deeper that we dig the hole
(We find)
We find we come away with
(Nothing)
Nothing left to leave our sons
(Dying)
But dying palms filled with soil
(Broken)
Our broken backs arched to the sky
(We see)
We see how deep a grave we've dug
The rain falls down
Thunder echoes through the air
Your final sound
A simple sigh of despair
Death rises around
Buried beneath a wave
Struggle no more
As black water fills your grave
Silence
Forever
I feel it enveloping me
All light
fading
A deadly grip tightening
(Our lives)
All our lives we spend escaping
(An end)
An end we know will one day come
(Avoid)
Avoid the presence of the moment
(We're left)
We're left with naught but broken
(Memories)
Memories filled with lies
(Another)
Another wasted destiny
(Pleading)
Pleading for a new tomorrow
(Deaf ears)
On deaf ears fall our final cries
The rain falls down
Thunder echoes through the air
Your final sound
A simple sigh of despair
Death rises around
Buried beneath a wave
Struggle no more
As black water fills your grave
Mother
Remember
The first time I made a sound
Waste not
Tear drops
There's already plenty to drown
(Devastate)
Devastated by a weakness
(I could)
I could always call my own
(As dark)
As dark waters rise around me
(Exhale)
I exhale and make my
(Final)
Final mark upon the world
(My loss)
My loss met with indifference
(The rain)
The rain will not mourn for me
(Washes)
As it washes me away
The rain falls down
Thunder echoes through the air
Your final sound
A simple sigh of despair
Death rises around
Buried beneath a wave
Struggle no more

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228

Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC! Archmage Orladin
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
