Moonlit shadows hide what was to be
My face, but you swore you could see
My image, calm and unopposed
As tainted as a black rose
Your heart was left for me to find
Tore out what kept my piece of mind
My willow weeps upon the ground
A raging river makes no sound
Slate black a starless night
A howling wind calls my name
Drawn into the twilight
Devoid of clarion treasures
As though looks could not deceive
Something. Anything. Tell me what you want from me
I can be what you can't believe
Then I'll walk away forever
Words I wish to speak all fall away
Truth undefined and gray
Your spirit, pure as the snow
That hides what no once can know
Lost my light to what you can conceive
Luminous shadows in the trees
Rejecting what you'd thought you'd found
Leaves only frozen sun-scorched ground
Slate black a starless night
A howling wind calls my name
Drawn into the twilight
Devoid of clarion treasures
As though looks could not deceive
Something. Anything. Tell me what you want from me
I can be what you can't believe
Then I'll walk away forever

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC! Archmage Orladin
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024
